Frequently Asked Questions About Fundraiser Direct

This seems a little too simple.

Well…it is. We’ve been in the typical fundraising world for over 20 years and have learned that “simple” is a good thing. We’ve designed this program to minimize your involvement time, while spreading the word to as many friends, family and contacts as you can think of.  We’ve set up custom email and mobile text templates for you to use, and promoting your program is as easy has clicking a button.  You can monitor your Fundraiser Direct program with our online dashboard – in live time!

What is involved in the sign-up process?

Click on the green “Sign Up Now” button and you’ll be taken to our secure sign-up form. Fill this form out using your school/organization’s information, customize the email message that your student’s will be sending out, then click the “Submit” button.  We’ll review your information and build your program’s website and dashboard. This usually takes 2 to 24 hours. Once approved, you’ll receive an email and letter containing your School ID number and registration link to share with your students or participants.  This email will also include credentials for accessing your dashboard which allows you to track your financial progress, see who has registered to participate, and use built-in tools to communicate with those participants via email.

What will my students/participants have to do?

Once they receive the School ID# and registration link from you, they’ll use that information to create their own secure, personalized selling page (message & photo), email/text message and share the fundraising program via social media networks, if they want to. (highly suggested).  From this account they can also track their own sales and resend the fundraiser message as many times as they like. No door to door selling anymore.

What payment options do you offer?

For your convenience, you may donate ONLINE by major credit card (we accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover).

How long should my fundraising program last?

We suggest a minimum of 3 weeks and no more than 6 weeks.

How soon will our group receive it’s money?

We will send your group or organization a check within a week for 80% to 90% of total donations and the balance within 3 weeks once all credit card transactions have been verified.

What if I move?

We will take care of your change of address for you. For simplicity you may notify us at our toll-free number 800-651-6896 between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM EST or send an email to INFO@fundraiserdirect.com.

What is your refund policy?

Our refund policy is simple, if you made a donation in error, please contact Customer Support for a full refund.

I’m having trouble during the check out process.

Make sure you are in the student’s link. The child that is requesting you to make a donation for their school/group should have sent you a personal email that has their link attached. This ensures they get credit for the donation.

How do I know if my donation went through?

You will receive a confirmation email shortly after you submit your donation.

How can I/we monitor our sales?

You will be provided with a state-of-the-art dashboard with which you can monitor donations moment by moment. You will also find helpful information for managing your donation campaign and tools for communicating with your members.

In addition, each member will have a private dashboard they can use to monitor their individual sales.

How will the charge appear on my credit card statement?

The charge for your donation will appear as “Fundraiser Direct”.

Can I run more than one fundraising program at a time?

At this time, you can only run one campaign at a time. If you wish to run multiple campaigns, for example, the basketball team and the chorus, set up separate accounts for each group and manage them separately.

Can I have more than one person administer my group’s account?

No. You can share your login and password with whomever you trust to login to your administrator’s account on your behalf.
